About
Mr. Melvin Petty, founding partner of ERP International, has developed sustainable business environments throughout his career, earning him several awards, such as being named the US Small Business Administration's Maryland Minority Enterprise Development Week Minority Small Business Person of the Year in 2012. Mr. Petty is a public speaker, alumni of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, and a lecturer for Decision Support Systems, Balanced Scorecard Management, and Business Transformation. With 25+ years of technical, operational, and financial experience, Mr. Petty has formed several ventures that advocate entrepreneurship and business transformation.

Conference Track: Achieving Capability in Regulated and Government Environments
ERP International completed the journey through CMMI DEV Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 between 2011 and 2017, achieving Level 5 in February, 2017. ERP is continuing its journey by achieving Services ML 3 as of September 2017 and is on the path to achieving Services ML 5. Throughout this journey, ERP has learned many valuable lessons, as well as reaping many benefits, unique to its position as a Small Business Government contractor.
