This is the first in the introductory series of courses for CMMI V3.0 and is a pre-requisite for taking the CMMI Associate exam or for attendance on one of the Building Excellence courses. Through a mixture of exercises, lectures and class discussions, the Foundations of Capability course will teach you how to understand and use the core elements of the CMMI V3.0 Model and explain the business value that can be gained by improving your organization’s capability. Successful completion of this course will give you one attempt at the CMMI Associate exam and provides the necessary foundation knowledge to prepare you to take one or more of the subsequent Building Excellence courses.
